Ivormadom Sivapadham, serving mankind with social commitment had undertaken high risk funerals and last rite rituals, like that of Nipah virus victims and other pandemics, that received wide acclaim, awards and honours from various agencies.
Special feature report in Janmabhoomi Newspaper
News report of Janmabhoomi daily regarding the cremation service offered by Ivormadom Sivapadham, for Nipah virus victims. It was when Perambra and its outskirts, stood literally frightened on the attack of the lethal Nipah virus, that Ivormadom Sivapadham undertook with social responsibility the funeral of victims.
Certificate of Excellence and bravery award
Nipah virus was the ever biggest challenge which the Arogya Keralam mission had to encounter. Cremation of corpses of Nipah virus victims were done with the initiatives of Ivor Madhom Sivapadham Krishnadas and Santhosh, with the support of the Health Department. Our team was duly honoured with the Certificate of Excellence and Bravery from Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala, for helping in the eradication and spread of the epidemic.
Mathubhumi Award
They received the prestigious Mathrubhoomi award and citation for their contributions at the tim of tackling the Nippah Virus problems.They were honoured with this award by Padmasree Mammootty at place.
Special character mention in malayalam movie Virus
Virus was a malayalam movie directed by Ashiq Abu taking into subject, the Nippah Virus scenario and how the Government and people of Kerala fight against it. There was a special character mention of team Ivormadom Shivapadam in the movie. The movie also highlighted their involvement and contributions to the society of Kerala at the time of Nippah Virus.
